At the Special Education Application and Research Center (GÖZEUM), children with special needs received individualized training tailored to their personal needs, with customized programs developed taking each child’s developmental characteristics into account. Throughout the training process, support was provided in areas such as language and communication, social skills, academic development, and daily living skills; differentiated teaching methods, specialized materials, and various therapeutic approaches were employed. In addition, collaboration with families ensured that children’s developmental processes were supported at home, and the effectiveness of the training was monitored through regular assessments. Through these efforts, the aim was to increase the independence of children with special needs, strengthen their participation in social life, and enable them to reach their full potential.
