At a seminar held at the university, a specialist speech-language therapist addressed the topic of stuttering and provided participants with comprehensive information about the definition of stuttering, its causes, prevalence, and its effects on individuals’ communication processes. An expert faculty member explained the difficulties individuals who stutter face in social life and the therapy methods used to overcome these challenges. In addition, individuals who experience stuttering shared their own life stories, helping students develop empathy and broader perspectives. The program was supported by an interactive question-and-answer session, with the goal of raising awareness about stuttering among participants, reducing prejudices, and strengthening inclusive communication skills.
